OT 531 - Occupation-Centered Practice in community Mental Health

This course prepares the student to work in a variety of emergin community practice areas, including mental health. The student sppends time in the community to developan understanding of the homeless and mentally ill consumer. Asssessments that ccan be used in a variety of community based settings are covered and the student learns how to information gather to develop treatment plans and interventions with clients diagnosed with brain and substance abuse disorders.
