PHCY 366 - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Building upon the knowledge obtained from basic life support training, this elective course will provide the student with an extensive review of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). The overall goal of this course is to introduce the pharmacy student to the role of a pharmacist on the resuscitation team and prepare the student for the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS healthcare provider course. Students will be responsible for reading and writing assignments as well as taking quizzes and a final exam.
