PHCY 4049 - Medication Therapy Management II

This one-month advanced pharmacy practice experience (APPE) rotation offers real practical experience for students providing detailed consultations and therapy management. Students will collaborate with Physicians and other Health Care providers to maximize favorable outcomes for their patients. Students will conduct live Comprehensive Medication reviews with patients as well as Therapeutic interchanges to better manage their therapy. Students will work with pharmacists, and other pharmacy team members to learn the basic MTM billing procedures for Outcomes and Mirixa. MTM is the future of pharmacy and Students play an important role in using their clinical knowledge to better take care of their patients.
