NMW 808 - Midwifery Care of the Newborn

This course focuses on the critical analysis and application of evidence-based care for midwives that independently manage the newborn from its early transitional period up to 28 days of life. Emphasis is placed on assessment of the essentially healthy newborn, anticipation of complications, and management of normal newborn care.
