The College of Dentistry offers entry-level and advance programs of study. The Dental Surgery, DDS degree is a full time 4-year program of study. The Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) is a 2+2 program (that is, students complete approximately two years of general education and prerequisite requirements at an accredited general academic institution prior to matriculating into the BSDH program in the College of Dentistry).
Advanced programs of study are offered in the following dental specialties, the first five of which lead to a Master of Dental Science degree offered through the College of Graduate Health Sciences:
