PHCY 259 - Complementary and Alternative Medicine

This elective course will familiarize the student with the most current complementary and alternative medicines used in the community setting. Common products, appropriate dosages, indications, contraindications, and common side and adverse effects will be addressed. The course will also discuss evidence-based medicine in this practice arena.
