MSCI 928 - Basic Principles and Applications of Mass Spectrometry

This course will discuss the basic theory and practical applications of mass spectrometry. Lectures will cover fundamental concepts of gas phase ion chemistry, principles of tandem mass spectrometry, discussion of state-of-the-art instrumentation, and applications of mass spectrometry for qualitative and quantitative analyses of biomolecules and pharmaceuticals.
