PHCY 225 - Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) II: Applied Therapeutics

The second course in the IPPE program is a required course designed to prepare student pharmacists for Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE). The second year IPPE experience builds on the foundation laid in the first year IPPE experience (e.g., shadow learning in the clinical environment) since students will have responsibilities for direct patient contact and for development and presentation of a pharmacist’s care plan for actual patients. Activities in this course occur in the fall and spring term.
