PHCY 2205 - Interprofessional Education and Clinical Simulation lV


Cr Hrs: 1 (0-2-0)

This required course is a continuation of PHCY 1105, PHCY, 1205, and PHCY 2105 and is designed to use clinical simulation (encompassing the use of standardized patients, colleagues, task trainers, high fidelity human patient simulators, or virtual reality simulations) as a way to teach and assess skills-based activities essential to pharmacy practice. The course will also include interprofessional exercise with the expressed purpose of bringing together learners from two or more health professions to increase mutual respect and understanding of their unique roles and perspectives, to enhance collaboration and communication, and to improve patient outcomes. 

This course may be repeated for up to 1 credit hours.
