OBG 45012 - Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility & Genetics

This is a face-to-face clinical rotation receiving 3 or 6 credit hours. The student should function with increased autonomy in patient care and must demonstrate competency in several of the Entrustable Professional Activities required for graduation. This 2 or 4-week elective consists of reproductive endocrinology and genetics clinics, REI ultrasound procedures, REI surgery, and fertility preservation techniques. The student will also observe laboratory procedures related to semen analysis and oocyte manipulation and cryopreservation techniques. Students will attend all assigned rounds, conferences and Didactics (Tuesday AM) and monthly Grand Rounds (Tuesday AM).
