RESD 403 - Advanced Operative Dentistry
Cr Hrs: 0.5 (5-0-0) This course is a compilation of clinically relevant techniques and procedures in Operative Dentistry. The intent of this course is to review principles and correlate theory into practice after the students have had clinical experience in operative dentistry. This course will present and review concepts, clinical procedures and problem solving using operative dentistry principles. Critical thinking and case-based learning will be emphasized. It also serves as a critical thinking exercise in preparation for Part II of the National Board Dental Examination. A laboratory portion of the course allows the handling of new and novel dental materials.
