DH 411 - Head and Neck Anatomy
Cr Hrs: 3 (45-0-0) Morphology of the head and neck with emphasis on structures pertinent to dentistry. Includes cranium and soft tissue relations; origin, insertion, action, and innervation of muscles of mastication and facial expression; brain and cranial nerves; and vascular supply to the head and neck. Anatomical basis for routes of spread of dental infection and anatomical basis for dental anesthesia also discussed. Lectures and demonstrations.
