PED 35020 - Internal Medicine and Pediatrics CE
Cr Hrs: 3 Session Length: 2 weeks
This is a face-to-face clinical rotation. Students will learn about Med-Peds career opportunities and future practice options by rotating with a variety of faculty members in primary care and subspecialty, and hospital rounds if desired. Experiences will include an Internal Medicine primary care clinic with Med-Peds faculty with a high concentration of patients with transitional or childhood illnesses; Transitional Care clinic at Le Bonheur; Med-Peds Nephrology, Endocrinology with focus on Type 1 diabetes, Allergy/lmm4nology Clinic, Sickle Cell clinic, Adult Congenital Heart Clinic, or Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic. Relevant reading materials will be provided.
