HOPR 816 - Applied Pharmacoeconomics I

The primary objective of this course is to expand the students’ appreciation of the nature of applied pharmaeconomic evaluation and its relevance to health care decision-making and policy formulation through didactic lectures, case study analysis, and a term paper. Emphasis will be on the application of methodological principles of economic evaluation and appraisal of current concepts and research in pharmacoeconomics.
