ORS 40100 - Junior Internship in Orthopaedic Surgery
Cr Hrs: 6 Session Length: 4 weeks

The Junior Internship in orthopaedic surgery will enable M4 students to work alongside orthopaedic residents at Regional One Hospital in the evaluation, stabilization, and hospital management of traumatic orthopaedic injuries. The JI will primarily work with the PGY4 resident in the daily rounding and management of patients in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit, the PGY2 resident in the assessment of orthopaedic consults, and assist in surgery as needed.
