PHCY 4000 - IPPE II: Community Pharmacy Practice
Cr Hrs: 2 (0-0-80) PD
This required course is the second introductory pharmacy practice experience (IPPE) in the pharmacy program. The two-week, 80-hour IPPE takes place in a community pharmacy setting between the first and second-professional years of the pharmacy program. Students work under the direction of a community pharmacist preceptor to understand the roles and responsibilities of a community pharmacist in managing pharmacy services and providing patient care as part of the patient’s outpatient healthcare team.
