OBG 45080 - Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Cr Hrs: 3, 6 Session Length: 2 and 4 weeks
PD
This is a face to face clinical rotation receiving 3 or 6 credit hours. The student should function with increased autonomy in patient care and must demonstrate competency in several of the Entrustable Professional Activities required for graduation. The goal of this rotation is to obtain medical knowlege and patient care experience, both inpatient and outpatient, as it relates to high-risk or complicated pregnancies, including Obstetric Ultrasound. During this rotation, the exception is that the student will fully participate in evaluation and management of patients and function as an integral member of the health care team. All management decisions will be discussed with the faculty with whom the student is working with on a daily basis. An attending physician will always be on-site to assist with clinic or procedural based care.
