PHCY 3104 - Pharmacy Law
Cr Hrs: 3 (3-0-0) A study of statutes, regulations, and policies that impact, directly or indirectly, the practice of pharmacy in the US and Tennessee; the manufacturing, distribution, and dispensing of medicines; and the delivery of pharmacy-based clinical services. Students will also learn how to find pharmacy law information, how to interpret it, and be prepared to incorporate it into their professional practice. An exploration of contemporary legal issues in pharmacy will be addressed as they arise.
