DSOM 203B - Patient Evaluation
Cr Hrs: 0.5 (0-24-0) A basic Oral Diagnosis course that introduces students to patient evaluation and examination techniques, the proper recording of collected exam data, the formulation of medical and dental summary diagnoses/problem lists, the planning of treatment alternatives for the patient’s dental diagnoses (taking the medical diagnoses into consideration), and the presentation of the treatment plan(s) to the patient. Section B is a continuation of section A which is offered in the Fall.
