MED 45011 - Dermatology
Cr Hrs: 3, 6 Session Length: 2 and 4 weeks
This is a face to face clinical rotation. The student should function with increased autonomy in patient care and must demonstrate competency in several of the Entrustable Professional Activities required for graduation. Students will spend full time with dermatology residents and staff. After attending dermatology clinics, rounds, and conferences, and after an estimated 20 hours of home study, the student should be able to cope with all skin problems normally encountered in family practice and should be able to provide definitive care for at least half of them.
