OMF 40020 - Pediatric Anesthesiology
Cr Hrs: 9 Session Length: 4 weeks
This is a face to face clinical rotation receiving 9 credit hours. The Pediatric Anesthesiology Clerkship is a four-week clinical experience that is part of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) residency program for the combined OMFS/MD degree. The rotation is didactic and clinical in nature with an intensely focused experience in pediatric anesthesiology and critical care. Students will serve in the capacity of an intern in anesthesiology with a gradual increase in responsibility in terms of patient care during the rotation. Students are required to participate in all seminars, lectures and conferences conducted by the Anesthesia service.
