Cr Hrs: 3, 6 Session Length: 2 and 4 weeks
This is a face to face clinical rotation receiving 3 or 6 credit hours. The student should function with increased autonomy in patient care and must demonstrate competency in several of the Entrustable Professional Activities required for graduation. This course provides students an experience in the delivery of health care in an ambulatory setting. It will take place in the Regional One Health Medplex center. During the four weeks, the student has the opportunity, under supervision, to provide primary care to adult patients in a comprehensive-care setting. These experiences emphasize the importance of continuity of care and follow-up, prevention, and patient education.
