RAD 45015 - Diagnostic Radiology - Baptist
Cr Hrs: 3, 6 Session Length: 2 and 4 weeks
This is a face to face clinical rotation receiving 3 or 6 credit hours. The student should function with increased autonomy in patient care and must demonstrate competency in several of the Entrustable Professional Activities required for graduation. Students will rotate at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis through the different subspecialties including Neuro, MSK, Chest, Body, IR, Nucs, Women’s, and Peds while learning the intricacies of X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and nuclear scintigraphy. Hours of the rotation are 8:00am to 5:00pm. The typical day will be spent with both residents and faculty observing and participating in image interpretation and procedures. Students should attend noon conference daily. There is a 2-week virtual curriculum from the ACR which students.
