PED 45070 - Transition to Pediatric Residency
Cr Hrs: 3 Session Length: 2 weeks
The overall objective for this course is to prepare medical students for the transition into Pediatrics or Medicine-Pediatrics residency. This course will include didactics on pediatrics-specific topics, workshops aimed at practicing clinical skills and procedure/simulation time to get hands-on experience. In addition to pediatric faculty, other interprofessional members such as residents, fellows, dietitians, and nursing staff will participate in this course. This course is specifically designed for students who have already matched into Pediatrics or Medicine-Pediatrics residency.
