NMW 812 - Complex Obstetrics and Midwifery Care-Practicum Effective Fall 2023

This clinical course will build on the foundations of the midwifery model of care with a focus on the challenges of populations at greatest risk for adverse outcomes during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. Emphasis will be placed on prioritizing a complex needs assessment and intervention, crisis intervention, and intra-interprofessional consultation.
