NSG 853 - Forensic Nursing I

This course presents core concepts, evidence-based standards of practice, and emerging issues of adult assault survivors in a holistic model that integrates philosophies, frameworks, and theories of nursing, forensic, health, and legal science in a historical, political, and social context. Content will include an analysis of the roles, advanced nursing skills, ethical decision-making, cultural inclusiveness, and interprofessional care required of forensic nurses caring for adult survivors of assault.
