NSG 874 - Forensic Nursing II

This course presents core concepts, evidence-based standards of practice, and emerging issues of pediatric/adolescent forensic nursing in a holistic model that integrates concepts of nursing, forensic, health, and legal science in a historical, political, and social context. Content will include analysis of the roles, advanced nursing skills, ethical decision-making, cultural inclusiveness, and interprofessional care required of forensic nurses caring for pediatric/adolescent survivors of assault.
