OBG 40155 - Junior Internship in Maternal Fetal Medicine

This is a face-to-face clinical rotation receiving 6 credit hours. The student will function as a junior intern with increased autonomy in patient care and must demonstrate competency in all of the Entrustable Professional Activities required for graduation. The goal of the rotation is to obtain medical knowledge and patient care experience, both inpatient and outpatient, as it relates to high-risk or complicated pregnancies, including Obstetric Ultrasound. During this rotation, the student will participate in evaluation and management of patients and function as an integral member of the health care team under direct supervision. All management decisions will be discussed with the attending physician and fellows the student is working with.
