This course focuses on how evidence is generated through the research process and the utility of scientific evidence for nursing practice. A scientific perspective is employed to critically appraise and evaluate evidence yielded from systematic inquiry. Emphasis is placed on how the professional nurse translates research-based evidence from literature to address problems encountered in professional nursing practice.
