The overall objective of this course is to prepare our graduating medical students for their transition into a general surgery residency. The course content will be based on the American College of Surgeons/Association of Program Directors in Surgery/Association for Surgical Education Resident Prep Curriculum. The course will be 2 weeks in duration and will include lectures and skills labs with surgical faculty, fellows, and residents. This course is specifically designed for those students who have already matched into a categorical or preliminary general surgery residency.
