MSPA 623 - Pathology Review II

The Pathology Review series of courses (I & II) will provide students with a thorough review of clinical, surgical, and autopsy pathology concomitantly with the Pathologists’ Assistant Practicum series of courses. Monthly assignments will bridge the gap between didactic theory and the hands-on clinical practice of a Pathologists’ Assistant. Student presentations will mimic those expected in clinical practice (e.g., tumor or autopsy board). The course provides opportunities for students to prepare for the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), Board of Certification Exam for Pathologists’ Assistants.
