SUR 40165 - Junior Internship in Vascular Surgery

This is a face to face clinical rotation receiving 6 credit hours. The student will function as a junior intern with increased autonomy in patient care and must demonstrate competency in all of the Entrustable Professional Activities required for graduation.This Vascular sugery junior internship experience would include opportunities for hands-on learning, observation, and active participation in clinical activities such as patient evaluations, surgical procedures, and post-operative care. Participants would work closely with vascular surgeons, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to gain insights into the diagnosis and management of vascular conditions. as well as the latest advances in surgical techniques and technologies. The program would also offer educational seminars, workshops, and case discussions to deepen participants’ understanding of vascular surgery principles and practices. Additionally, mentorship and networking opportunities would be provided to help participants build professional relationships and explore potential career paths in vascular surgery.
