NFR 751 - Advanced Forensic Nursing I: Adult Forensic Care
Cr Hrs: 3 (2-0-1) Post UG/GR
This course focuses on the importance of identification and documentation of injuries, evidence collection, and preservation, understanding the legal and ethical implications of forensic nursing, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support adult victims. Emphasis will be placed on developing competencies in conducting forensic examinations, providing expert testimony, and implementing strategies to address the physical, psychological, and social impacts of violence on adult patients.
