This course presents an overview of the American dental care delivery system: private care, Government/public health care (emphasis on leadership, individualized patient-centered care, prevention and oral health strategies), and voluntary care. The financing of each is covered. Specific subtopics are also presented concerning public health, sports, tobacco use, TN/AR public health programs, the latest fluoridation/prevention information, Federally Qualified Health Centers, access for aged and disabled population groups.
