This introductory course in forensic nursing provides students with foundational knowledge and skills at the intersection of healthcare and the legal system. Students will explore the roles and responsibilities of forensic nurses, techniques for evidence collection and preservation, and the legal and ethical considerations in forensic practice. Through case studies and practical exercises, students will learn to assess and care for victims and perpetrators of trauma and violence within a multidisciplinary framework.
