NSG 433  - Nurses Leading Change Through Strategic Communication

This course focuses on theories, concepts, and practices of communication. This course is designed to facilitate the development of effective communication skills necessary to lead, collaborate, and effect change that is designed to improve health outcomes at the individual, family, population, and system levels amongst graduate health sciences students. This course focuses on improving confidence and competence in advanced communication skills including, but not limited to message development and mapping as well as media, crisis, and dialogue communication skills.
