NEX 806  - Law, Policy, and Ethics in Health Care Systems

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to participate in and lead policy development, analysis, and implementation. This course provides an overview of the political process, healthcare policy, advocacy, leadership roles, and legislative and regulatory issues. Students will gain knowledge to enable their understanding of legal and ethical practices and how they impact health, healthcare systems, and society.  This course builds upon and applies concepts and competencies within Leadership and Healthcare Policy.
