OTD 961 - Advanced Leadership & Advocacy in Occupational Therapy

This course examines the varied roles and responsibilities of the occupational therapist as a leader in the following settings: practice, education, research, consultative, entrepreneur, and policy arenas. Students will gain knowledge about design, innovation, and entrepreneurship and apply the knowledge to the development, marketing, and management of OT programs and services. They will also enhance their ability to lead and advocate effectively within a variety of environments and understand trends and influences that affect the delivery, evaluation and outcome of occupational therapy service.
