This course provides an overview of health economic concepts and pharmacoeconomic principles that are closely related to pharmacy practice. In addition to discussing concepts, guidance will be provided on how to conduct several types of studies related to health economics and outcomes research as well as economic modelling applied to healthcare contexts. Specific topics related to pharmacy practice that overlap with the use of these methods will then be discussed.
