CLS 527 - Advanced Cell Biology
Cr Hrs: 2 (30-0-0) PM
This course is designed for students majoring in master’s level in Medical Laboratory Sciences. The master’s level cell biology course will introduce and explore basic concepts and theories of cell biology with an emphasis on its application in understanding human health. Each of these topics will be explored through course readings, video lectures/discussions, and activities such as course assignments. Students will prove their mastery of cell biology concepts through quizzes, exams, assignments, and a cumulative final exam. The students will learn the clinical import of dysfunction of cellular components. Students will also apply the concepts learned in this course to evaluate a human disease.
