The remaining 500 hours of experiential training can be acquired by completing an additional nuclear pharmacy rotation, internships, and working under the direct supervision of an authorized nuclear pharmacist either as a pharmacy student or after graduating. Documentation of hours from the didactic program and the experiential training are required in order to be listed as an authorized nuclear pharmacist on a pharmacy or hospital radioactive materials license. The College of Pharmacy will accept a maximum of six (6) credits of Nuclear Pharmacy coursework towards elective requirements in the PharmD program.
