Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program


A one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Program located in Nashville, Tennessee, is co-sponsored by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry and St. Thomas Hospital Nashville. The program offers didactic and clinical training in the general practice of dentistry. Residents treat patients at a community facility in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to starting the residency, candidates must have passed Part I and II of the National Dental Board Exam and have graduated from a U.S. or Canadian dental school. The program participates in the national MATCH application service. The program also has a presence in Memphis at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry.
