BIOE 740 - Ethical and Legal Issues in Clinical Research Cr Hrs: 3 (48-0-0) This course will examine ethical and legal principles and issues in clinical research, including attention to topics such as the Nuremberg Code, Belmont Report, federal standards for protection of human subjects, FDA guidelines for drug and device development, good clinical practice standards, and how these guidelines may be applied to the development, conduct, and reporting of clinical research.
