NSG 415 - Health of Populations
Cr Hrs: 3 (2-0-1) This course provides the theoretical and clinical foundation for providing safe, patient-centered, evidence-based, culturally competent and community-focused nursing care to populations. The course focuses on community health assessment, planning, and education. Legal, ethical, sociocultural, spiritual, political economic, historical and global environmental factors that affect the process of health promotion and disease prevention are examined.
