NSG 416 - Adult Health Nursing
Cr Hrs: 7 (4-0-3) This course provides the theoretical and clinical foundation for providing safe, patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care through teamwork to improve the quality of care to adult patients and families. This course focuses on promotion of health and function, management of illness, and provision of comfort through the use of information and technology for decision making and error reduction. Legal, ethical, sociocultural, spiritual, political, economic, historical, and global environmental factors that affect the health of adults are examined.
