This required course covers the foundational principles of biomedical, pharmaceutical, administrative, and clinical sciences needed for starting the professional pharmacy program. In addition, the course serves as the foundation for calculations, mathematical skills, and medical terminology necessary to perform pharmacist-related duties, such as preparing, administering, and dispensing medications. The course will also promote students’ self-development by fostering self-awareness practices, identifying effective study habits and strategies, and improving test-taking ability.
