PDCH 208  - Introduction to Pediatric Dentistry Lab

The laboratory portion of the pediatric curriculum supplements lectures and provides hands-on experience. The students will have the opportunity to restore primary dentition using multiple treatment modalities and materials including amalgam, composite, and glass ionomer 1-2 surface restorations, resin strip crowns, stainless steel crowns, and prefabricated zirconia crowns. Students will also gain further experience with pulp therapy, space maintenance, managing trauma, quadrant dentistry, proper isolation, and managing the developing dentition.
